Robert Borgert was born and raised in Hanama’ulu, Kauai and now lives with his family of six in his renovated third-generation family home originating from the sugar mill era. He is the Facilities Manager at The Beall Corporation for properties such as Coconut Marketplace, Kojima Store and Old Koloa Town, which have been in his care for more than 10 years. For Robert, these places share a connection of appreciation that goes back to childhood, and he enjoys maintaining the grounds, buildings and equipment to create a welcoming and safe space for visitors and employees. Aside from his work at The Beall Corporation, Robert is a graphic artist and surfboard shaper – a passion that brings all his joys in life together into one singular focus.
