Julia Matsuura is a Senior Vice President within the Beall Corporation’s Retail Services Division. She specializes in representing Landlords and Retailers to develop and execute their real estate strategies in Hawaiʻi. Her primary focus is within Hawaiʻi’s Urban High Street, resort markets, regional shopping centers and representing luxury and urban retailers. Her expertise is in all aspects of real estate from ground up retail development to the remerchandising of assignments. Julia’s approach ensures each client’s transactions are fully aligned with their business needs and brand positioning goals. Her attention to detail has consistently provided her clients with the best-in-class service.

Julia began her career at CBRE Inc. in 2008 where she was part of the Urban Retail Group. She was a CBRE Hawaii Rookie of the Year and named Top Producer.

She most recently served as a Vice President for Colliers International where she led the Resort Retail Division and was the Director of Leasing for Ka Makana Aliʻi, (753,000 SF GLA) which was the first ground up regional shopping center to be developed within Hawaii in more than 30 years. Julia and her team were able to get Ka Makana Aliʻi leased up to 91% occupied.
